Rose Bold Flame
Even as a young, fresh, stallion, he would often be calmer and easier to handle than some of the older geldings and mares at the barn!
He was born out in the field, and spent his first two years with a herd (where he learned to get along with other horses),
Flame was so gentle when he came to the barn to be broke that little kids could groom him and lead him around without a problem.
He is also extraordinarily intelligent and calm when faced with new situations.
Flame is an easy learner and an excellent mover, with a gorgeous, free flowing canter and an amazing extended trot.
His movement is a reflection of his pedigree, both on his mother and father’s side.
His sire, CH Lee Hill Bold Rumor has produced several outstanding champion hunter ponies.
"Lee Hill Riptide" was 3rd Small Green Pony in the nation in 2005 and Zone 4 Small Green Champion in 2005
as well as 4th Overall Small Green Pony at the USEF Pony Final in 2005.
His dam "Rose" is a wonderful producer and his full sister "Dream Rose" was shown at Devon as a 2 year old.
Flame shows much promise as a stallion, because of his excellent disposition and his ability as a good mover,
both of which he will doubtlessly pass on to his offspring. He will be a good cross with ponies as well as Thoroughbreds.
Flame will be standing this year at an Introductory stud fee of $350.
